The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has advised members of the public to ignore a trending post stating that Batch C Npower recruitment list has been published.
N-Power Commences Payment Of July Stipend To Npower Beneficiaries.
The Ministry also proved to be false another post asserting some people have been shortlisted for a programme called Npower Trust Funds Grant.
Both claims were disproved in a tweet on Friday morning from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development under which the Npower scheme is domiciled.
The tweet named both news as fake and simply wrote: “Please disinterest #FakeNews.”
However, some people who replied to the tweet noted that the delay in releasing the official list of batch c recruitment beneficiaries by the government is what is giving defrauders the chance to carry out such activities.
They, therefore, instructed the federal government to expedite action, finalize the process and release the official list for Batch C Npower beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Friday reported that his principal is not happy with the rising insecurity in the country.
Adesina, in this week’s edition of Fridays with Adesina, titled NIGERIA AND WAR OF TONGUES, said no government would be happy seeing its citizens assassinated.
The presidential aide denounced individuals preaching discord, disharmony against the Buhari-led government.
