Biography of senator Ugwu osita , the senator representing Udi/Ezeagu (Enugu West Senatorial)

Senator Osita Ngwu has had a career that spans over 15 years in the oil and gas industry where he garnered remarkable cognate experience, rising from trainee engineer to Executive positions.

Ngwu had an exceptionally successful career in the Design, Procurement, Construction, and Management of Oil and Gas Infrastructures in the Upstream Sector (Offshore and Onshore),

He rose from a Trainee Engineer position to Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Manager, Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Chief Operating Officer, before becoming an Executive Director.

Senator Ngwu is also a key player in the commercial private sector. His businesses range from hospitality to production which includes a fleet of factories worth several billions of naira and thousands of youth directly and indirectly employed.

In 2018, he opted to run for the House of Representatives on the PDP platform, representing his constituency of Udi/Ezeagu, driven by his deep desire to serve his people. But he left the position out of compassion for the incumbent, who was running for reelection to the Green Chamber for a second term.

He then went on to offer his assistance in furthering the PDP’s advancement throughout the State. As the 2023 election approached, he made the decision to run for the Enugu West Senatorial District ticket, which he easily won in both the party’s senatorial district primary and general elections.
